Built from the inside of the sector

Germivanto was created by people who spent years working alongside Argentine agricultural cooperatives and saw firsthand the financial knowledge gap that affects governance quality.

Agricultural cooperative board meeting with directors discussing financial documents

A recurring question from cooperative directors

The idea for Germivanto grew from repeated conversations with cooperative directors who were honest about a real problem. They understood agriculture. They understood their members, their markets, their territories. What they didn't always understand was what their own financial statements were telling them.

Not because they lacked intelligence. Because nobody had ever explained financial information in the specific context of how agricultural cooperatives actually work. The accounting training that existed was designed for accountants, not for the people who govern organizations that depend on sound financial management.

That gap, between operational expertise and financial literacy, is what Germivanto was founded to address. Founded in Buenos Aires in 2023, our programs have been designed from the ground up around the real questions that cooperative directors and managers ask when they're sitting across from a balance sheet they need to understand.

The values behind our work

01

Sector Specificity

Generic financial training rarely sticks in a cooperative context. Everything we teach is framed within the specific operational and legal realities of Argentine agricultural cooperatives.

02

Practical Application

We measure success not by whether participants can recite definitions, but by whether they can ask better questions at their next board meeting and make more informed decisions.

03

Accessible Language

Financial concepts do not need to be explained in accounting jargon. We translate complex ideas into language that connects with the lived experience of cooperative leaders.

04

Ongoing Relevance

Argentina's economic and regulatory environment changes. Our programs are updated regularly to reflect current accounting standards, legal requirements, and sector realities.

05

Respect for Experience

The people who attend our programs bring decades of sector knowledge. We design our training to build on that knowledge rather than replace it.

Specialists who understand both sides

Our team brings together expertise in cooperative governance, agricultural sector economics, and adult financial education.
